History - if we don't learn from it - it will repeat itself - My study of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar... In search of #WhoAmI

As my #WhoAmI continues, so is my learning of our national heroes.

As I am going through the book by the name "Pakistan or Partition of India" by B.R. Ambedkar sir, today I was going through the part dedicated to Hindu Maha Sabha. My salute to Savarkar sir for having such an uncluttered mind about Swaraj.

#HindusofBharat ... wake up before it's too late...

Mr. Savarkar lays great stress on a proper understanding of the terms, Hinduism, Hindutva, and Hindudom.

He says, “In expounding the ideology of the Hindu movement, it is absolutely necessary to have a correct grasp of the meaning attached to these three terms. From the word “Hindu” has been coined the word “Hinduism” in English. It means the schools or system of Religion the Hindus follow. The second word “Hindutva” is far more comprehensive and refers not only to the religious aspects of the Hindu people as the word “Hinduism” does but comprehend even their cultural, linguistic, social and political aspects as well. It is more or less akin to “Hindu Polity” and its nearly exact translation would be “Hinduness”. The third word “Hindudom” means the Hindu people spoken of collectively. It is a collective name for the Hindu World, just as Islam denotes the Moslem World.”

“Swaraj to the Hindus must mean only that in which their “Swaraj”, their “Hindutva” can assert itself without being overlorded by any non-Hindu people, whether they be Indian Territorials or extra-Territorials— some Englishmen are and may continue to be territorially born Indians. Can, therefore, the overlordships of these Anglo-Indians be a “Swarajya” to the Hindus ? Aurangzeb or Tipu were hereditary Indians, nay, were the sons of converted Hindu mothers. Did that mean that the rule of Aurangzeb or Tipu was a “Swarajya” to the Hindus? No! Although they were territorially Indians they proved to be the worst enemies of Hindudom and therefore, a Shivaji,a Gobindsingh, a Pratap or the Peshwas had to fight against the Moslem domination and establish real Hindu Swarajya.”

As part of his Swaraj, Mr. Savarkar insists upon two things.

Firstly, the retention of the name Hindustan as the proper name for India.

“The name “Hindustan” must continue to be the appellation of our country. Such other names as India, Hind, etc., being derived from the same original word Sindhu may be used but only to signify the same sense—the land of the Hindus, a country which is the abode of the Hindu Nation. Aryavarta, Bharat- Bhumi and other names are of course the ancient and the most cherished epithets of our Mother Land and will continue to appeal to the cultured elite. In this insistence that the Mother Land of the Hindus must be called “Hindustan”, no encroachment or humiliation is implied in connection with any of our non-Hindu countrymen. Our Parsee and Christian countrymen are already too akin to us culturally and are too patriotic and the Anglo-Indians too sensible to refuse to fall in line with us Hindus on so legitimate a ground. So far as our Moslem countrymen are concerned it is useless to conceal the fact that some of them are already inclined to look upon this molehill also as an insuperable mountain on their way to Hindu-Moslem unity. But they should remember that the Muslims do not dwell only in India nor are the Indian Muslims the only heroic remnants of the Faithful in Islam. China has crores of Muslims. Greece, Palestine, and even Hungary and Poland have thousands of Muslims among their nationals. But being there a minority, only a community, their existence in these countries has never been advanced as a ground to change the ancient names of these countries which indicate the abodes of those races whose overwhelming majority owns the land. The country of the Poles continues to be Poland and of the Grecians is Greece. The Moslems there did not or dared not to distort them but are quite content to distinguish themselves as Polish Moslems or Grecian Moslems or Chinese Moslems when occasion arises, so also our Moslem countrymen may distinguish themselves nationally or territorially whenever they want, as “Hindustanee Moslems” without compromising in the least their separateness as Religious or Cultural entity. Nay, the Moslems have been calling themselves “Hindustanis” ever since their advent in India, of their own accord.

“But if in spite of it all some irascible Moslem sections amongst our countrymen object even to this name of our Country, that is no reason why we should play cowards to our own conscience. We Hindus must -not betray or break up the continuity of our Nation from the Sindhus in Rigvedic days to the Hindus of our own generation which is implied in “Hindustan”, the accepted appellation of our Mother Land. Just as the land of the Germans is Germany, of the English England, of the Turks Turkistan, of the Afghans Afghanistan—
Even so, we must have it indelibly impressed on the map of the earth for all times to come a “Hindustan”—the land of the “ Hindus”.

The second is the retention of Sanskrit as the sacred language, Hindi as the national language, and Nagari as the script of Hindudom.

“The Sanskrit shall be our Deva Bhasha our sacred language and the “Sanskrit Nishtha” Hindi, the Hindi which is derived from Sanskrit and draws its nourishment from the latter, is our Rashtra Bhasha our current national language—besides being the richest and the most cultured of the ancient languages of the world, to us Hindus the Sanskrit is the holiest tongue of tongues. Our scriptures, history, philosophy, and culture have their roots so deeply embedded in the Sanskrit literature that it forms veritably the brain of our Race. Mother of the majority of our mother tongues, she has suckled the rest of them at her breast. All Hindu languages currently today whether derived from Sanskrit or grafted onto it can only grow and flourish on the sap of life they imbibe from Sanskrit. The Sanskrit language therefore must ever be an indispensable constituent of the classical course for Hindu youths.

What is to be the position of the non-Hindu minorities under the Swaraj as contemplated by Mr. Savarkar?

On this question, this is what Mr. Savarkar has to say :

“When once the Hindu Maha Sabha not only accepts but maintains the principles of “one man one vote” and the public services to go by merit alone added to the fundamental rights and obligations to be shared by all citizens alike irrespective of any distinction of Race or Religion .... any further mention of minority rights is on the principle not only unnecessary but self-contradictory. Because it again introduces a consciousness of majority and minority on Communal basis. But as practical politics requires it and as the Hindu Sanghatanists want to relieve our non-Hindu countrymen of even a ghost of suspicion, we are prepared to emphasize that the legitimate rights of minorities with regard to their Religion, Culture, and Language will be expressly guaranteed: on one condition only that the equal rights of the majority also must not, in any case, be encroached upon or abrogated. Every minority may have separate schools to train up their children in their own tongue, their own religious or cultural institutions and can receive Government help also for these,—but always in proportion to the taxes they pay into the common exchequer. The same principle must of course hold good in the case of the majority too.

“Over and above this, in case the constitution is not based on joint electorates and on the unalloyed National principle of one man one vote, but is based on the communal basis then those minorities who wish to have separate electorate or reserve seats will be allowed to have them,—but always in proportion to their population and provided that it does not deprive the majority also of an equal right in the proportion of its population too.”

That being the position assigned to the minorities, Mr. Savarkar concludes that under his scheme of Swaraj:

“The Moslem minority in India will have the right to be treated as equal citizens, enjoying equal protection and civic rights in proportion to their population. The Hindu majority will not encroach on the legitimate rights of any non-Hindu minority. But in no case can the Hindu majority resign its right which as a majority it is entitled to exercise under any democratic and legitimate constitution. The Moslem minority in particular has not obliged the Hindus by remaining in the minority and therefore, they must remain satisfied with the status they occupy and with the legitimate share of civic and political rights that is their proportionate due. It would be simply preposterous to endow the Muslim minority with the right to exercise a practical veto on the legitimate rights and privileges of the majority and call it a “Swarajya”. The Hindus do not want a change of masters, are not going to struggle and fight and die only to replace an Edward by an Aurangazeb simply because the latter happens to be born within Indian borders, but they want henceforth to be masters themselves in their own house, in their own Land.”

And it is because he wants his Swaraj to bear the stamp of being a Hindu Raj that Mr. Savarkar wants that India should have the appellation of Hindustan.

And here we go...
My unending love for Bharatmata - coming out of me naturally.
Enjoy my experience in a pretty early morning.
Hey Bharatmata - i bow down my head in front of you.

It's time to call a spade a spade - the Hindus and Musalmaans have no common ground to form a common nationalism...

Us vs. Them - we are not the same...

It does not matter how much the hallucination called secularism is murmured by the so-called Indian political leaders, the Hindus and the Muslims don't have any common history for which both the communities feel happy or sad together. That's why, the partition happened in Bharat and if the Hindus in the present Bharat believe in Sabka sath Sabka Vikaash, that's obviously an open sham - and can be deciphered with a simple tweak of the brain.

The following excerpts have been taken from B.R Ambedkar's book "Pakistan or The Partition of India" where even he claimed the same thing - the basis for the Musalmaans to demand their own country.

Wake up - Hindus of Bharat - don't remain as blindfolded fools.

Read... Read...

Let's know the reality of the #Hindu community in Bharat during the Muslim period.

History lessons

Remember, if we don't learn from history history will repeat itself

Taken from B.R Ambedkar’s book (page 63)

Pakistan or the Partition of India…

On the other hand, what was done was in accordance with the ruling ideas of the leaders of Islam in the broadest aspects. These ideas were well expressed by the Kazi in reply to a question put by Sultan Ala-ud-Din wanting to know the legal position of the Hindus under Muslim law.

The Kazi said

“They are called payers of tribute, and when the revenue officer demands silver from them they should without question, and with all humility and respect, tender gold. If the officer throws dirt in their mouths, they must without reluctance open their mouths wide to receive it.....The due subordination of the Dhimmi is exhibited in this humble payment, and by this throwing of dirt into their mouths. The glorification of Islam is a duty, and contempt for religion is vain. God holds them in contempt, for he says, ‘Keep them in subjection’. To keep the Hindus in abasement is especially a religious duty, because they are the most inveterate enemies of the Prophet, and because the Prophet has commanded us to slay them, plunder them, and make them captive, saying, ‘ Convert them to Islam or kill them, and make them slaves, and spoil their wealth and property’. No doctor but the great doctor (Hanifah), to whose school we belong, has assented to the imposition of jizya on Hindus; doctors of other schools allow no other alternative but ‘Death or Islam’.”

Such is the story of this period of 762 years which elapsed
between the advent of Muhammad of Ghazni and the return
of Ahmadshah Abdalli.

"
Are there any common historical antecedents which the Hindus and Muslims can be said to share together as matters of pride or as matters of sorrow? That is the crux of the question. That is the question which the Hindus must answer if they wish to maintain that Hindus and Musalmans together form a nation. So far as this aspect of their relationship is concerned, they have been just two armed battalions warring against each other. There was no common cycle of participation for a common achievement. Their past is a past of mutual destruction—a past of mutual animosities, both in the political as well as in the religious fields. As Bhai Parmanand points out in his pamphlet called “the Hindu National Movement”— “In history the Hindus revere the memory of PrithviRaj, Partap, Shivaji and, Beragi Bir, who fought for the honour and freedom of this land (against the Muslims), while the Mahomedans look upon the invaders of India, like Muhammad Bin Qasim and rulers like Aurangzeb as their national heroes.” In the religious field, the Hindus draw their inspiration from the Ramayan, the Mahabharat and the Geeta. The Musalmans, on the other hand, derive their inspiration from the Quran and the Hadis. Thus, the things that divide are far more vital than the things which unite. In depending upon certain common features of Hindu and Mahomedan social life, in relying upon common language, common race, and common country, the Hindu is mistaking what is accidental and superficial for what is essential and fundamental. The political and religious antagonisms divide the Hindus and the Musalmans far more deeply than the so-called common things are able to bind them together. The prospects might perhaps be different if the past of the two communities can be forgotten by both.

The pity of it is that the two communities can never forget or obliterate their past. Their past is embedded in their religion, and for each to give up its past is to give up its religion. To hope for this is to hope in vain.

In the absence of common historical antecedents, the Hindu view that Hindus and Musalmans form one nation falls to the ground. To maintain it is to keep up a hallucination. There is no such longing between the Hindus and Musalmans to belong together as there is among the Musalmans of India."

Response to the Intellectuals

Author: Shri Tapan Ghosh

I won’t listen to a blind man describe the beauty of a sunset. Nor will I hear a refugee say, “How good Muslims are.”

Go back to the other side of Bengal with your family’s women, live there for six months. Then come back and tell me how good Muslims are.

And about Muslim participation in the freedom struggle? No one but a collaborator would say such a thing.

In undivided Bengal, 54% were Muslims and 46% were Hindus. Muslims were the majority, and Hindus were the minority. So, if both had participated in the freedom struggle, there should have been more Muslim martyrs and prisoners than Hindus.

From Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chaki, a tradition of martyrdom began in Bengal’s freedom struggle. How many Muslims joined this fight and became martyrs by British bullets or the gallows? Was it 54% of the total martyrs? How many Muslims went to the Andaman Cellular Jail? Was it 54% of the total prisoners?

Marxists argue that Muslims lagged in education. On top of that, Hindu revolutionaries performed Kali Puja and read the Gita, so Muslims couldn’t join them. Fine, let’s say Hindus did their rituals. But why didn’t Muslims, chanting “Allah-Allah” and offering namaz, form their own revolutionary organization to fight the British?

Back then, they were the majority. As the majority, wasn’t it their primary duty to fight the British? So why didn’t they? Because they lagged in education? Why did they lag?

Before the British arrived, they ruled for 500 years. During those 500 years, Hindus struggled to save their lives, religion, and the honor of their women from their greed. That’s why Hindus fell behind in education back then. The ruling Muslims should have been far ahead in education. So why did they fall behind? Were Muslims responsible for this, or Hindus?

The truth is, everyone knows why they lagged. Marrying 4-5 times and producing 15-20 children makes it impossible to educate them. On top of that, for them, namaz, fasting, and Hajj were far more important than education. They valued Arabic over Bengali or English. This is why they fell behind in education. Why blame others for it?

Alright, let’s accept they lagged in education. So, their participation in the freedom struggle might have been lower. But it shouldn’t have been zero! If not 54% of the martyrs, it could’ve been half—27%, or even less, say 20% or 10%. Where are they? Name one Muslim martyr from Bengal. You can’t. Among the countless martyrs of undivided Bengal, Muslim martyrs are almost nonexistent. Why not? Shouldn’t this question arise? Of course, it should.

Revolutionary Masterda Surya Sen had around 150 members in his group, all ready to sacrifice their lives for the country’s freedom. In 1930, Chittagong’s population was 20% Hindu and 80% Muslim. Yet, all 150 members of Masterda’s revolutionary force came from that 20% Hindu population. He couldn’t find a single revolutionary among the 80% Muslims.

Why?

Was Masterda trained in an RSS school and became a Hindu communalist, deliberately keeping Muslims away? The same was true in Punjab. In undivided India, Punjab and Bengal produced the most martyrs. Yet, in both these provinces, where Muslims were the majority and Hindus the minority, not a single Muslim became a martyr in the anti-British struggle. All the martyrs came from the minority Hindus and Sikhs.

Does anyone know the name of a single Bengali or Punjabi Muslim martyr? So, what does this prove? That Hindus and Muslims fought together against the British for freedom?

How long will this false propaganda continue?

Here’s an important fact to remember: Muslims may have lagged in education, but does that mean they lacked political awareness? Before independence, elections were held twice (1937, 1946), and ministries were formed. There were three chief ministers in Bengal. Hindus were supposedly so advanced in education—doctors, lawyers, barristers, artists, writers, zamindars, Rai Bahadurs, all were Hindus. Yet, not one of the three chief ministers was Hindu. Why? The same was true in Punjab. In Bengal, the chief ministers were Khwaja Nazimuddin, Fazlul Haq, and Suhrawardy.

No matter how far behind they were in education or how distant they stayed from the freedom movement, in a Muslim-majority state, they wouldn’t accept a non-Muslim as chief minister. So where’s the evidence that their lack of education led to a lack of political awareness?

Oh, but when it came to going to jail or becoming martyrs, their awareness was suddenly lacking? Why didn’t this lack of awareness show when choosing Muslim chief ministers?

How long will these flimsy arguments persist?

They didn’t fight for freedom, didn’t go to jail, didn’t shed blood, didn’t give their lives. But when independence—earned through Hindu blood and lives—was near, they jumped in to claim their share. Suddenly, there was no lack of awareness. They raised slogans: “First give us Pakistan, then India will be free,” “We’ll fight and take Pakistan.” They didn’t just raise slogans—they drew knives, swords, and pistols. They rioted across the country for Pakistan, massacred Hindus, and finally, by managing Gandhi and Nehru, they secured Pakistan. Though the country was divided on religious lines, most of the Muslims whose votes won Pakistan stayed back here as opportunists.

They shed not a drop of blood in the freedom movement but spilled rivers of Hindu and Sikh blood to secure Pakistan.

So, is the picture of Hindus and Muslims fighting together in the freedom struggle clear now?

These fact-rich historical truths need to be known by all.

Varnashram Dharma...

Humans of Bharat...

wake up - our Varnashram was not created based on birth - but rather based on psychological characteristics and deeds...

Remember - United we stand ..... divided we fall...

varNAs are psychological classifications of human beings. varNas group human beings into different classes according to their innate characteristics. Srimad Bhagavatham emphasizes this by using the word “Lakshana”, which means an attribute or qualification when describing the nature of the varNAs. This shows the psychological qualities each varNa has are their innate characteristics. Sri Krishna also says in the Bhagavad Gita that four varNAs are created by using the classification of their qualities and their deeds.

From Gita:

चातुर्वर्ण्यं मया सृष्टं गुणकर्मविभागशः।
तस्य कर्तारामपि मां विद्ध्यकर्तारामव्ययम्।।4.13।।

[chAturvarNam mayA shrusTaM guNa karma vibhAgashaH – Four VarNas were created by using classification according to their guNas (qualities) – Bhagavad Gita]

In both these instances, we can see that varNas are characteristics of human beings. It is not accorded by their birth.

So over a period of time, varNas became identified by birth instead of the innate characteristic of a person. This could be due to several reasons. It is much easier to identify a person by his birth than by looking into the innate characteristics of a person. In the old days when the mental purity of individuals was high, it was easier to identify the innate characteristics of individuals. Over time, this practice was lost.

Let me cite a simple example. I did my bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecomm Engg. During the '90s, in Bharat, there was no company that was involved in chip manufacturing or design. The job profile of an electronics engg was limited to servicing computers fax machines etc. When I found my software analytical skill was better than the hands-on Electronics engg, I switched over to software. So I acted in accordance with my lakshana. Now for my next generation - it was an easy choice. As I can train my son in advanced computer software, he has chosen Computer Science as his subject. It was like a doctor's next generation usually becomes a doctor and like that. So, my becoming a software engg was kind of lakshana and my son's becoming a software engg is kind of determined by both lakhsna and birth and because of convenience to transfer the existing knowledge generation after generation. This is as simple as this.

In Mahabharata, we can see these two types of identification of varNas. Sri Veda Vyasa was born of a fisherwoman. He rose to become a great Maharshi and many consider him to be an avatar of Sri Vishnu. In his case, varNa was determined by his innate characteristic and not by his birth. On the other hand, Sri Vidura was a great scholar, but he was constantly put down and humiliated by Kauravas as a son of a shudra woman. In Vidura’s case, some people determined his varNa by birth.

The great Awakening ...

The Great Awakening...

Is the great awakening of the Humans of the UNIVERSE happening?

I think so.

Despite the effort of global bodies like WEF, ESG, and WHO to curtail genuine information as misinformation, despite the ugly hands of Satans to cover the eyes of the sane human race of this #UNIVERSE, despite the mainstream media peddling lies after lies scripted by their masters of Davos, the UNIVERSE is waking up to kiss the #TRUTH.

This is the age of information. Whoever controls it, will control the minds of the global people. And the best part of this is that people have rejected the mainstream media and they are now watching in large numbers the work of independent journalists.

The recent kick out of Tucker Carlson from Fox News and then the fall in their viewership just symbolizes that the #Humans of the #UNIVERSE cannot be treated as kids anymore. We have grown up. We have built our own sanity to segregate information and misinformation. We are no longer just kids of this world. We have built our conscience and consciousness, our awareness. We have woken up.

The plan of the globalists like Soros and Ball Gates will surely fail. The ugly greed of the so-called billionaire philanthropists is gradually understood by the Humans of UNIVERSE.

Come ON.... guys.... reclaim your position...

Don't remain willfully blind.

Open your eyes.

Enjoy the freedom that the almighty God has given to you.

Nobody can snatch it from you.

Let's take away the power from a few rulers of Davos and distribute it to the masses - the ruled.

Jai Hind...

Friends... Forget me not, forget me not despite if I venture at a distant place...

Lyrics

Translation

Forget me not, forget me not despite if I venture at a distant place.

Forget me not, despite if older passion is covered with the newer lattice of ardor.

Being within proximity, I disguise myself as the shadow –

Forget me not.

If my eyes are soaked, If someday the game comes to the end in a dreamy night,

Forget me not.

If someday on an autumn morning my mission is concerned -

Forget me not.

If after recalling the corner of the eyes do not seem to be sopping –

Forget me not.

Hindus of Bharat - wake up - the proof that we knew Sun is the source of all our energy since Rigveda...

Dedicated to Sun God - the mantras are from Vedas and Upanishads

Here goes the script (written in Bengali).

I am sure somebody will soon come out of the Sanskrit script.

The first Sanskrit shloka is from RigVeda and ShuklaYayurveda and the second and the third are from Upanishad

The first stanza of the song

"

Shrinwantu Vishwe Amritasya PutraAa Ye Dhamani Dibyani Tasthu

vedāhametaṁ puruṣaṁ mahāntamādityavarṇaṁ tamasaḥ parastāt|
tameva viditvātimṛtyumeti nānyaḥ panthā vidyate'yanāya ||
"

Hear ye children of immortal bliss

For the Humans of the UNIVERSE, if we translate each and every shloka of this song, you will know that at least 10000 years ago, or maybe even earlier than that when the whole UNIVERSE was living in the jungle, we knew that Sun is the only source of our energy.

Here is the clarion call for the Hindus of Bharat - please wake up and reclaim #whoyouare

Thursday, April 6, 2023

On this Hanuman Jayanti - RSS must take a pledge to create a few Gopal Patha - Gopal Chandra Mukherjee - let's focus on Bajrang Dal...

Hindus of Bharat - wake up.

You cannot fight a snake by showing a merciful character.

Of late, we were seeing some disturbing trends from the RSS head like
"
Don’t go looking for a shivling in every mosque...
"
which is obviously absolutely deplorable.

Had the Hindus of Bharat been a little bit more aggressive to protect their dharma, the story would have been totally different.

But alas!

We maintained the status quo of willful blindness when a madrasa chaap person was made the first education minister of Bharat by a progeny of Giasuddin Gazi and the tradition is still going on.

It's very sad that the young Hindus of Bengal hardly know about the person for whom the entire of Bengal or Kolkata was not given to Pakistan.

How could the Hindus forget about the resistance that Gopal Chandra Mukherjee or Gopal Patha created and how he turned the tables and took the fight directly at the doors and mohalla of the M community after the direct action day claimed many Hindu brothers' lives and the virginity of many Hindu sisters in Bengal?

So, Hindus of Bharat.

Enough slavery...

Enough servility...

Now wake up and reclaim your true identity...

Remember, you are the progeny of people of great valor like Arjuna, Bhisma, Shivaji, Rana Pratap, and many more...

And the young Hindus of Bengal - here is a small video on Gopal Patha who rescued your forefathers from being slaughtered like lambs by fanatic M mob on the streets of Kolkata and elsewhere started on 16th August - infamously known as Direct Action Day, and thus stopped today's Bengal being part of Pakistan...

Here's why BJP must do a course correction in its approach towards Hindu sentiments. Instead, it is becoming more like Congress or the Left. The fierce right-wing leaders are not being made visible in the pan-India forum. They are ready to sacrifice firebrand supporters like Nupur Sharma or recently Kajal Hindustani.

The following writings are taken from Ashish Dhar discussing about the need of Bajrang Dal and VHP.
"
Too many people suddenly are feeling nostalgic about Bajrang Dal and VHP. They are lamenting that they are no longer a patch on what they used to be. Well, they were cut down to size by the big shots as soon as they started smelling power in the 90s. The thing is the bigshots were uncomfortable with their existence because the so-called goons were no longer politically useful to them and only embarrassed them in the media, 5-star conferences, and lit fests. So, the big names started distancing themselves from these outfits. But the real blow came after their 2004 defeat in national elections. The state leadership of Gujarat, led by leader ji, started reopening all the closed cases against VHP and Bajrang Dal. The govt got so vicious that they forced a firebrand VHP leader, Prahlad Shastri, to commit suicide in 2005.

The party had two options back then - easy path and difficult path. Obviously, they chose the easy path of throwing the BD/VHP cadre under the bus. The bus was headed to a destination called 'Vikas'. What they ignored was that it would run out of diesel one day. The difficult option was to provide intellectual cover to the people on whose muscle power, the big names had come to power. Much like the Marxist academics give cover to their less sophisticated comrades on the street.

There is no room for pretending to take the moral high ground when it comes to the realities of electoral politics. But since the Sangh leadership had by then already embraced a culture of profound anti-intellectualism, it was too late in the day to change course. More so, because they were already the principal opposition and power was just a whiff away. There was no need to invest in intellectual capital, they felt, as they do even now. That choice was fatal, not so much for the party but its crores of supporters.

It is a sad fact of life that modern academic research in the humanities is not some sophisticated enquiry into higher truths as it was in ancient India. Rather, it is the basic ammunition in this information age, where the internet and media intrude into the privacy of living rooms. Even today, nothing of significance can be achieved "on the ground" if there is no investment in intellectual capital by the party. And since that investment is never going to happen, the party will drift more and more towards the left, eventually becoming indistinguishable from them. In fact, it has already made that transition, and anyone not blinded by the love of the party or its leaders will see the writing on the wall. Ambedkar worship, SC/ST & minority appeasement, the sudden introduction of leftist vocabulary like subaltern into their cheap rhetoric, etc. are sure signs.

Left to fend for themselves, Hindus with this basic understanding of reality must remember they are on their own. They must invest in long-term institution-building and play the infinite game well or prepare to perish. No two ways about it.
"
For all of the young generation of Bharat - here's what happened on

The direct action day - the week of long knives...
