Truth - Royal Indian Navy mutiny and Netaji/INA gave us independence ... Let's accept this TRUTH and enjoy national salvation - #AmritMahotsav

The following writings are taken from a long Twitter thread...

The 2nd World War changed Geopolitics.

The war had caused rapid expansion of the Royal Indian Navy [RIN] In 1945, it was 10 times larger than its size in 1939.

But, the end of the war also meant demobilization and the anxiety of unemployment. Worse, crude British racism knew no end.

The formation of the INA by Subhas Chandra Bose had been kept under wraps during the war.

But the Red Fort Trials of the key surviving Indian protagonists propelled the INA into the national consciousness & ignited long-suppressed passions in the breasts of their countrymen.

In the last months of 1945, police firing killed 63 protestors in Bombay & Calcutta. These were turbulent times & young Indian soldier was deeply affected.

Balai Chand Dutt (BC Dutt) was the man who triggered the 1946 Royal Indian Navy (RIN) Mutiny.

Today BC Dutt has been erased from Indian History

In early 1946, a series of incidents of “strikes” occurred within units of the Indian Armed Forces.

The strikes or mutinies, which began in units of the Royal Indian Air Force (RIAF) quickly spread to the other Services as well including the Royal Indian Navy ( RIN)

The beginnings of the Naval Ratings Mutiny were in an event that occurred on 16 January 1946 when a contingent of naval ratings arrived at the Castle Barracks on Mint Road of Mumbai’s Fort Area.

RIN mutiny - The sparks – The Azad Hind Boys on HMIS Talwar

On February 17, when the ratings reiterated their demand for decent food, British officers sneered that ‘beggars cannot be choosers’. This was the last straw.

On 18 February 1946, Naval Rating MS Khan led a revolt on HMIS Talwar, and a strike committee was formed.

On February 18 morning, 1,500 ratings walked out of the mess hall in protest, a clear act of mutiny.

Yet they also declared that ‘this is not a mere food riot. [We] are about to create history…

a heritage of pride for free India.’

It was at this time that a colleague returned from Burma secretly carrying letters from INA men addressed to Nehru & Sarat Bose – an incident that ignited their latent patriotism.

The ‘strike committee’ decided their task was to take over the RIN and place it in the command of national leaders.

A formal list of demands called for the release of all Indian political prisoners including INA POWs & Naval detainees & The British to Quit India.

By 19 February 1946, ratings from Castle and Fort Barracks had joined the revolt. Ratings left their posts and traveled around Bombay in trucks, carrying pictures of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose who by now had become their inspiration & also pulled Down The Union Jack.

The next morning, 60 RIN ships harbored at Bombay – including the flagship HMIS Narbada, HMIS Madras, Sind, Mahratta, Teer, Dhanush, Khyber, Clive, Punjab, Gondawana, Berar, Moti, Jamna, Kumaon, Oudh & 11shore establishments.

Within 48 hrs British had lost control of its Navy.

A newly-formed Naval Central Strike Committee (NCSC) included 12-36 representatives from all the ships and barracks of Bombay.

Later NCSC declared the RIN renamed as the ‘Indian National Navy’.

Probably This is The Possible Birth of the Modern Indian Navy.

Battle at Castle Barracks :

British Sent Maratha Regiment to Attack on Barracks.

The next morning, the British officers discovered that the Maratha soldiers were sympathetic to the ratings. They were replaced with British troops.

The ‘Hartal’ – Bloodbath at Bombay :

The Bombay Students’ Union and the CPI had called for a general strike and the NCSC had asked people to make it a success. But End up with indiscriminate firing from British Troops

Gandhi was clearly unsupportive of the unplanned uprising and Sardar Patel even asked people to ‘go about their work as usual’. For once, the people rejected the great leaders. The strike was ‘total’ and processions rolled across the city.

At Karachi harbor, HMIS Hindustan had resisted British small arms throughout the February 21

The next day British had positioned artillery around the ship, and as the tide ebbed, the Hindustan’s levels dropped and made it difficult for the ratings to aim their guns.

RIAF Bombers were delayed because an entire squadron from Jodhpur, piloted by Indians, had mysteriously developed engine trouble.

Instead, a British squadron of bombers flew over the Mumbai Harbor while Admiral Arthur Rullion issued an ultimatum to surrender unconditionally

The Betrayal of Indian National Congress & Gandhi :

The mutineers got no support at all from the Indian National Congress. Far from it, Mahatma Gandhi issued a statement criticizing the mutineers for revolting without any guidance from a political party.

On February 23, at 6am, all ships surrendered. At the Thane-based HMIS Akbar, 3500 ratings and 300 sepoys refused to surrender but had to capitulate in the face of bayonets.

With no assistance from either the Congress or the Muslim League, the mutineers were doomed.

Such is the story of the great betrayal of the Royal Naval Mutiny of 1946 by India’s political leaders. When 100s of ratings suffered in Mulund camp, nobody spoke up for them.

In conjunction with the INA trials & the people's unity during the mutiny had loosened the last pillars of the Raj.  British knew that their days were over.

On March 15, Prime Minister Attlee accepted that ‘The tide of nationalism is running very fast in India .....

In An Letter Written By Justice PB Chakravartti to historian RC Majumdar - Chakravartti recalled his talk with former British PM Clement Attlee, who admits that he set India free because of Subhas Bose & The Fire of Nationalism ignited by INA Not Because of Quit India Movement.

Clement Attlee cited the Main Reason Behind the British Leaving India is the INA activities of  Bose, which weakened the very foundation of the British Empire in India, and the RIN Mutiny which made the British realize that the Indian armed forces could no longer be trusted to prop up the British.

INA, Bose, and RIN Mutiny is The Main Reason Why India Got Independence.

But None of Our School Books Teach us this...

No Politician Speak About This Nor Govt of India

In Amritmahotsav Web page Govt only glorified A Flop Show Called Quit India Movement...

Living the life - moment by moment...

What is life?

Is it like a time span from birth to death?

Or is it the integration of various moments that we live from birth to death?

Life is like an analog signal.

The continuity has to be there.

Once we discretize it, it introduces noise - no matter what filter we use to recover it - it does not remain perfect.

We live life - moment by moment.

Seriously.

Once a moment is gone - it's gone forever.

Can't be brought back.

On 14th August, on the eve of our 76th Independence Day celebration - here's me singing this very truth of life - we must live life moment by moment.

Enjoy the song...

Jai Bharat...

Hey Bhagwan ... quench my thirst...

The English Translation of the song...

Bestow light on the unsighted,
Endow life to the dead.
Tender a drop of mercy, O' Gracious.
Rock-hard is my arid heart -
Soak my parched eyes with flowing love.
Send your hearty call to him
Who doesn't call you,
Protect him intimately
Who looks away from you.
He who roams thirsty
On the banks of your ocean of nectar -
Sooth him with your flow of affection,
Help him drink the divine potion.
That I had obtained you,
That I had lost you, unwittingly,
That I fell asleep
To rise and find all plunged in the dark.
Whom do I exchange my estrangement,
Who would console me,
Years passed quietly looking for love -
Unveil yourself, O' do it,
My sobbing heart is down.

The following text is taken from

Bhagabat Gita

रसोऽहमप्सु कौन्तेय प्रभास्मि शशिसूर्ययोः ।
प्रणवः सर्ववेदेषु शब्दः खे पौरुषं नृषु ॥८॥

raso 'ham apsu kaunteya
prabhāsmi śaśi-sūryayoḥ
praṇavaḥ sarva-vedeṣu
śabdaḥ khe pauruṣaṁ nṛṣu

TRANSLATION
O son of Kuntī [Arjuna], I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and the moon, the syllable om in the Vedic mantras; I am the sound in ether and ability in man.

In this world full of materialism - life is like a thirsty deer in the desert being fooled by a mirage.

O lord... offer me your grace and let me - the solitary sailor - cross the river...

On the eve of 1st August - one of the most memorable days for me...

It was 1988 - 1st August.

The day when I first stepped out of my hometown of Purulia and started my journey as an engineering student in the Civil Department of Bengal Engineering College or famously called B E College - currently known as IIEST.

Many years have passed by.

Now at the fag end of my career, have concentrated solely on transferring my software knowledge to my only son Ridit with the hope that one day he would serve the nation.

The song that I am listening to today is Klanti amar khoma koro probhu.

The English translation of this song is here...

FORGIVE MY languor, O Lord, If ever I lag behind Upon life's way. Forgive my anguished heart Which trembles and hesitates In its service. Forgive my fondness That lavishes its wealth Upon an unprofitable past. Forgive these faded flowers In my offering That wilt in the fierce heat Of panting hours.

Enjoy the song.

The knowledge that my grandfather passed on to me before i turned even 10...

I remember, before going to sleep, every day my grandfather used to narrate different stories to me. The range was vast - from why eucalyptus trees are not suitable for the dry soil of Purulia to Ramayan Mahabharata, the stories of American soldiers on the streets of Bharat throwing out chocolates to half-naked village kids during the world war to blackouts on the streets of Kolkata during the Japanese bombing to Hitler sending a large number of German scientists to Bharat every year before the World War and how they collected all of our ancient Sanskrit texts to Germany and how it helped Germany in the World War and Homeopathy industry to Hilsa fish at Kolaghat to aakhara on the banks of river Ganga at the strand road of Kolkata to singara made of cauliflower near Shyambazar of Kolkata, and many more.

From him, I knew about the two medicinal plants called Bishalyakarani and Sanjeevani.

After his demise, the natural storytelling stopped for me.

Last year, I searched about Bishlyakarani and Sanjeevani to find out if the people of the modern generation know about these or not.

Today again I searched - and found a nice write-up on these two medicinal plants of ancient Bharat...

I just want to make the people of Bharat an awakened society with knowledge rinsed with our ancient wisdom...

Of late, the people of Bharat have started showing signs of being awakened - we need the mass awakening.

Come ON... Hindus of Bharat - you are the progenies of great civilization...

Wake up...

Reclaim #WhoWeAre

The great awakening - COVID was all about mass formation fear psychosis

Humans of the UNIVERSE...

Wake up...  before it's too late...

Watch...

COVID was all about mass formation fear psychosis...

And if fear does not work out...

then enticement would surely...

It's really amazing to watch how the whole #UNIVERSE was hypnotized to comply with the COVID vaccination...

by hooks or by crooks...

I am sure after a few decades when we will look back, we will be amazed to see how the general public nods their heads in agreement to be under camera surveillance all through the day during the plandemic...

Such was the fear created amongst the ordinary public - all knowingly...

Bravery vs Cowardice - a coward cannot win a battle of Dharm and Truth

This is what even Google says as I searched

Bravery vs Cowardice...

Bravery exists whenever someone a person engages in the right action at the potential expense of their own comfort.

Cowardice, on the other hand, exists when someone chooses self-protection at the expense of the right action.

I am again repeating my old saying that the context of learning #Gita vis-a-vis the people of Bharat must be altered from the old age retirement to that part of life and youth when one can move a mountain.

Even the government is losing its spine. I am sorry to say, the Government of India is wrong in choosing the Gandhi Peace Prize for Gitapress.

Because Gita teaches us to become brave enough to kill the snakes of society mercilessly unlike Gandhaji, who made the people of Bharat confused with his ahimsa prototype.

And then to make the whole Bharat impotent, the Gigolo PM of Bharat put enough gas in the image of Gandhiji to gaslight the whole Hindu population of Bharat.

And the surprise is that the present govt is still playing the second fiddle vis-a-vis the nefarious plan of the first prime minister of Bharat by promoting Gandhiji and his philosophy globally.

Why today I am writing this because of the following dramabaji by the Law Commission of Bharat...

First of all, let me say it unequivocally that this poll is absolutely unnecessary.

These guys are making the law complicated.

There is no other country where there is no common civil code for being a citizen.

The more we will play the game “Who will bell the cat” the more we will deceive our true selves and Bharatmata.

Uniform Civil Code is necessary and don’t dilly-dally it with all such dramabaji.

Please have some sense and implement it.

As we started with Gita - here is my own personal time imbibing #Gita

Getting leaders having an uncluttered mind like #LordKrishna to establish #Truth and #Dharma is the need of the hour for Bharatmata.

JaiHind...

Here is me, the #nemo of the society, bowing down my head in front of Bharatmata...
