On the eve of Kaali Puja - Chotii Diwali - Kolkata Diary...

I think everyone wants a peaceful life - surrounded by family members and close friends.

Here is our small family of three - on the eve of Kaali Puja - that is Chote Diwali - or in Bengali - Choddo Pradeep - (14 diyas).

My wife #reema slogged for the whole day preparing lots of Namkeen and Barfis of Moong Dal.

Jay Maakaali...

My earnest request to the #HumanOfBharat who are dwelling in the cities of Bharat.

Please revive the old cultural ethos and values that you learned while staying in the small town of Bharat before flocking to the over-congested cities and started rinsing yourself with the MTV kinds of masala water.

Otherwise, all of your children will become rootless - just like the second generation of NRIs feel - with no attachment to any special culture and values...

na ghar ka .... naa ghat ka...

for the sake of our kids

we have to revive our old values and culture...

If nobody comes alongwith you, you have to walk alone to establish #TRUTH and #Dharm

If nobody comes along with you, you have to walk alone to establish #TRUTH and #Dharm

If the whole #UNIVERSE goes against you, if you think that you are walking on the path of #Dharm and #TRUTH, sometimes you have to walk alone - this is the basic leadership lesson that must be taught in the MBA classes.

I respect Tulsi Ji - that she chose the path of #TRUTH and dared to come out of the flock of sheep.

And I am also sure by showing that kind of courage of a LIONESS, she can build her own

Pride of Lions

instead of a

flock of sheep

and she can roar alone

"I got your back" for the citizens of the USA

Dedicating this song written by Rabindranath Tagore to our own Tulsi Ji.

The Song in English Script:

Jodi tor daak shune keu na aashe tobe ekla cholo re.
Ekla cholo ekla cholo ekla cholo ekla cholo re.
Jodi keu kotha na koy ore ore o obhaga
Jodi shobai thaake mukh phiraye shobai kore bhoy
Tobe poran khuleyO tui mukh phutey tor moner kotha ekla bolo re.
Jodi shobai phirey jay ore ore o obhaga
Jodi gohon pothe jabar kaale keu phirey na chaai
Tobe pother kaantaO tui roktomakha chorontole ekla dolo re.
Jodi aalo na dhore orey orey o obhaga
Jodi jhor badole aandhar raate duyar dey ghore
Tobe bojranole Aapon buker paanjor jwalie niye ekla jolo re.

The Song in English Translation:

If they pay no heed to your call walk on your own.
Walk alone, walk alone, walk alone, walk all alone.
If none speaks, o wretched one,
If all turn their face away and cower in silence—
Then open out your heart
dear one, speak out your mind, voice alone.
If everyone spurns, o wretched one
If all leave you in the lurch in the wilderness
Then trample the trail of thorns
With your blood-stained feet alone, on your own.
If no one holds up a light, o wretched one
And bolts the doors on a dark, stormy night
Then in the lightning fire of pain
Kindle your own heart and keep it burning bright alone.

The Rudraksha - the eyes of Rudra - the #LordShiva

Rudraksha is a Sanskrit compound word consisting of Rudra (Sanskrit: रुद्र) and akṣa (Sanskrit: अक्ष).

Rudra is one of Shiva's Vedic names

Sanskrit dictionaries translate akṣa (Sanskrit: अक्ष) as eyes, as do many prominent Hindus such as Sivaya Subramuniyaswami and Kamal Narayan Seetha; accordingly, rudraksha may be interpreted as meaning

"eyes of Rudra"

Rudraksha tree, Elaeocarpus ganitrus

Of the 300 species of Elaeocarpus, 35 are found in India. The principal species of this genus is Elaeocarpus ganitrus, which has the common name of "rudraksha tree", and is found from the Gangetic plain in the foothills of the Himalayas to Nepal, South and Southeast Asia, parts of Australia, Guam, and Hawaii.

Rudraksha trees grow to 60–80 ft. They are evergreen trees that grow quickly, and as they mature their roots form buttresses, rising up near the trunk and radiating out along the surface of the ground.

Types of rudraksha stones

5-faced (pañcamukhi) rudraksha stone with the lines delineating its faces labeled

Rudraksha stones are described as having a number of facets or "faces" (mukhi) that are separated by a line or cleft along the stone. Stones typically have between 1 and 21 faces, although most have between 4 and 6 faces. Those with a single face are the rarest. Rudrakshas from Nepal is between 20 and 35 mm (0.79 and 1.38 in) and those from Indonesia are between 5 and 25 mm (0.20 and 0.98 in). Rudraksha stones are most often brown, although white, red, yellow, or black stones may also be found.

Many types of stone are described. Gauri Shankar are two stones that are naturally conjoined. Sawar are gauri shankar in which one of the conjoined stones has just one face. Ganesha is stones that have a trunk-like protrusion on their bodies. Trijuti are three stones which are naturally conjoined. Other rare types include veda (4 conjoined sawars) and dwaita (2 conjoined sawars).

Rudraksha stones may be strung together as beads on a garland (mala) which can be worn around the neck. The beads are commonly strung on silk, or on a black or red cotton thread. Less often, jewelers use copper, silver, or gold wires. The rudraksha beads may be damaged if strung too tightly. The Devi-Bhagavata Purana describes the preparation of rudraksha garlands.

Several late-medieval Upanishads describe the construction, wearing, and use of rudraksha garlands as well as their mythological origin as the tears of Rudra.

Sage Guha replied: (It is made of any one of the following 10 materials) Coral, Pearl, Crystal, Conch, Silver, Gold, Sandal, Putra-Jivika, Lotus, or Rudraksha. Each head must be devoted and thought of as presided over by the deities of Akara to Kshakara. The golden thread should bind the beads through the holes. On its right silver (caps) and left copper. The face of a bead should face, the face of another head and tail, the tail. Thus a circular formation must be made.

— Akshamalika Upanishad

Sage Sanatkumara approached Lord Kalagni Rudra and asked him, "Lord, kindly explain to me the method of wearing Rudraksha."

What he told him was, "Rudraksha became famous by that name because initially, it was produced from the eyes of Rudra. During the time of destruction and after the act of destruction, when Rudra closed his eye of destruction, Rudraksha was produced from that eye. That is the Rudraksha property of Rudraksha.

Just by touching and wearing this Rudraksha, one gets the same effect of giving in charity one thousand cows."

— Brihajjabala Upanishad
तुलसीपारिजातश्रीवृक्षमूलादिकस्थले । पद्माक्षतुलसीकाष्ठरुद्राक्षकृतमालया

He should count using a rosary (mala) whose beads are either made of the tulsi plant or rudraksha.

— Rama Rahasya Upanishad
हृदयं कुण्डली भस्मरुद्राक्षगणदर्शनम् । तारसारं महावाक्यं पञ्चब्रह्माग्निहोत्रकम्

After prostrating himself before the celebrated form of Sri Mahadeva-Rudra in his heart, adoring the sacred Bhasma and Rudraksha and mentally reciting the great Mahavakya-Mantra, Tarasara, Sage Shuka asked his father Geat Sage Vyasa.

— Rudrahridaya Upanishad

Sage Bhusunda questioned Lord Kalagni-Rudra:

What is the beginning of Rudraksha beads?
What is the benefit of wearing them on the body?

Lord Kalagni-Rudra answered him thus:

I closed my eyes for the sake of destroying Tripurasura. From my eyes thus closed, drops of water fell on the earth. These drops of tears turned into Rudrakshas. By the mere utterance of the name of 'Rudraksha', one acquires the benefit of giving ten cows in charity. By seeing and touching it, one attains double that benefit. I am unable to praise it anymore.

Join the dots backward - does it make sense now !!!

Join the invisible dots backward...

Does it make sense now !!!

from the very beginning, I have been of the opinion that COVID is not a medical problem - it's a geopolitical power game between China and the rest of the world - especially the USA - in which #ballgates, #Davos, Dr. Fucku, the big pharma - all r playing their role meticulously

- Trump sir preempted
- Israeli strongmen defeated
- Abe sir of Japan who was staunchly opposed to Chinese hegemony was murdered
- Quad in the doldrums
- Attacks on Modiji
- Indian army's top boss killed
- Deadly virus announced from Boston lab - citing which USA may go again into lockdown - just before mid-term elections in the USA
- China purchasing lands in the USA at strategic military locations
- China building strategic base in Brazil
- Ukraine war unfolded and the #UNIVERSE is almost on the verge of WW3
- the Taiwan invasion would be completed very soon

aur bataun keya -should i explain more?

join the invisible dots - and make it out yourself

ye dimag ka khel hai boss - this is a mind-twisting game - the #UNIVERSE is a Chess board now

Lessons that we must learn from the present history

If #lordshiva has given you a long nose, use it to smell foul smell inside your house and not to poke into everybody else's internal matters...

Agar naak kaat jatey hai to bohut dard hota hai...

Is Diversity always good for an organization?

Is diversity always good for the organization?

I have a doubt.

Diversity for the sake of diversity is the same form of #wokism as asking a software engineer - why a manhole is circular in shape.

We need different viewpoints to do the brainstorming - I agree.

But we also know that to create a crescendo - we need to match the frequency and the phase of the different participatory waves in the system

It’s like the military commandoes moving ahead while marching past - in a rhythm

The Unison - the Unity...

Let’s all move together - look in the same direction - vibrate almost the same frequency to create a crescendo - and promise to work in tandem to build one nation - one language - one culture - Unity through Unison...

Here is my write-up on the topic of Diversity...

Story time friends - The day of the Jackal...

Human of Universe

I read this book when i was, most probably in class VIII or IX.

The end was fabulous.

I think it was one of the classic stories revolving around a murder plot of a statesman

Shunya - The Zero...

I am almost at the fag end of my career.

I am actively in the search for #WhoAmI - trying to join the dots backward.

However, the journey through the maze of my life is all alone.

Although I am a complete family man now, and in fact, I love my family - but with more days passing by - it seems to be obvious that

Mainly we are just a few actors playing our solo roles in this #UNIVERSE

In this role, we interact with one another - and we will have to accept when we interact with someone else - that the other person is also an actor in his/her own rights.

In the software world - more precisely - in the Object Oriented software world - we are some full-fledged objects -

having all sorts of polymorphic behavior - which determines how we react depending upon the circumstances -

Sending signals to other objects we are in contact with.

Just like in the software world not every object is equally powerful. For example, if there is an application class - which might be a Singleton - will hold the maximum weightage among all of the other smaller objects.

And the lifetime of this object will have to be the same as the lifetime of the program loaded into the memory

Just like human society, there will be some auxiliary objects - without which - we will be okay - but they are there to make the lives of the programmers easy.

But, ultimately, all of the active objects will one day die, and then there will not be much history of those objects - they will simply be flushed out of the memory of the society

Some objects, while getting destroyed, may cause memory leaks - which is a dangerous part of the OOAD world

Hence, Java people took care of that many years ago, through garbage collection.

C++ - after being in a timid state for many years - are waking up - and they introduced Boost's library in the year 2009 release of the new C++  to handle this dreaded disease called memory leaks.

For the early day's software engineers, when Symbian was a dominant force in the mobile world, Symbian C++ engineers had to get rid of such abnormal memory-related behavior with the help of two-phase construction - later on with the advent of Template in C++ - auto_ptr or smart_pointer and later Boost's pointer came into the right time

As software is now more than just a few combinations of 0's and 1's -

the technologies behind the software world is also fast changing

the same way we, the human race are becoming more and more complicated in the process of making our lives simpler through the usage of Technology

so, the folks of my generation - who are somewhat kinda 50 years old - have all experienced the death knoll of the camera industry, the death of Kodak, the death of the normal calendar industry - and now witnessing the death of the wristwatch industry

we have seen the death of the Analog signal industry

But, for the human of the Universe

Human Life is analog and so is the experience of a Human being

The moment we want to digitize it, encrypt it, and then transmit it, we obviously introduce noise in it, distortion in it - and whatever way we may reproduce it on the receivers' end - it will not give you the #WHOLE picture - it will be distorted

It's like the big ZERO - at the end of our lives - we will be like a big ZERO - inside of which all of our digitized pieces of the lifetime will be captured - all for the others to watch and USE

but for you - at the end of the life

You will be complete - just like a ZERO - where two ends of the circle will meet - a perfect 0 -

the #WHOLE before you get yourself dissolved into

 the #UNIVERSE

the #LORDSHIVA -

the #WHOLE -

 the #COMPLETE -

the #PERFECT -

the #ALMIGHTY

The Shunya -

the ZERO...

So #WhoAmI

I am #energy without #form

Feel the vibe...

Towards the fag end of your career - it's very important to renunciate everything that you thought of your own during your active life...
