From time immemorial, we have asked questions and hoped for answers from God.
Now we look at the screen of a computer and ask our questions in the hope of getting the correct answers.
For the first time in the scientific world, we have created something that does not just store information but participates with us in creating and explaining almost everything possible under the sun.
It can create literature...
It can write poetry...
It can create art and drawings...
It can create software code that will give the correct and expected output...
That changes our relationship with a machine...
But the danger is not AI answering like God...
The danger is with our society treating AI as God...
If we stop questioning its answers, we surrender judgment.
If we allow it to replace curiosity, we surrender learning.
If we use it to avoid thinking, we surrender the very ability that created it.
The box is powerful...
But the intelligence which we possess to put it inside a box is ours.
AI may reside in a box...
But we must stay outside the box...
We are human beings, we can take help from AI but AI is not superior than human beings.
