My interpretation of why Maakaali was shown dancing absolutely naked in Hinduism...

Here's my wife, Reema - celebrating the inner strength of Nari - the Women...

I thought for many years why in our ancient Bharat, the powerful goddess Maakaali was shown as dancing absolutely naked with fierce, raw power and energy, eliminating the asura, the raktabirja, the evil of the universe? Why was she shown naked? And why, when we look at her deity amid such fierce outbursts of emotion, do we never think of it as anything vulgar, but rather bow our heads before Her?

Why? Why?

I think the answer is very obvious and had the people of Bharat understood it, our course of history would have been absolutely different today, and we would have been part of a nation of powerful people and not prawnhead, pigeonhearted, manipulators, who instead of playing it safe and ultimately losing, would have been ready to take the bull by the horns and won the game of life

Truth is always naked. So when Maakaali dances naked, it implies that she is trying to establish truth by removing the asuras who symbolize society's ignorance and darkness.

And when the truth starts dancing naked among ignorance, only the power from the source of the truth becomes unbearable for the weak people who, otherwise, think that they are powerful and can go away by doing anything they wish without being noticed by the goddess.

For the people who become a witness of this powerful naked dance of truth, only two things can happen -

Some of them are just burnt and become ashes. They are just blown away by the wind.

However, some of them become absolutely pure by being burnt from the power of the goddess and enjoy the rest of their lives emanating lights and elevating the weak, needy people of the society. They become angels for society and the knowledgeable resource we need for the future generation.

There is no other option for the result for the people once they watch the naked dance of Maakaali

That's why Maakaali is shown naked in Hinduism.

And that’s why when #lordshiva had to take charge of pacifying Her, he did not offer any clothes to cover the truth, but he lay down under Her feet to resurrect the power of love and compassion of a caring and loving husband in Her to bring Her back to normalcy.

He won Her by love and not by any logic of so-called weak people

This way of becoming pure through burning themselves as part of the general psyche of the people's ancient Bharat, which was just reflected in this beautiful song of Rabindranath Tagore…

Aguner poroshmoni choaon prane...

Translation:

Give a touch of the fiery magical stone to my life,

Purify me, clarify me, enlighten me,

With all severe pain, purify my soul.

Uphold my mortal body high, enlightened

Allow me to serve your temple as the burning lamp inside –

Let the lamp radiate through my songs.

With your petite touches into the darkness

Nascent stars arise glimmering all night.

My eyes will not find a dark spot anywhere

It will be light everywhere

All my sufferings would burn and soar skyward.

For all the devotees of Maakaali - the real seekers - if you cannot digest the power of naked truth and try to experience it with the soft veil of untruth, you will never reach Her

And here is for the TruthSeekers of the UNIVERSE, my wife Reema's definition of TRUTH

Satyameva Jayate...
