Durga Puja: The Triumph of Shakti Over Evil — A Call to Awaken Sanatan...
Arise, O Woman, Awaken!
Arise, O Woman, awaken from your slumber deep,
Let the fire within your soul no longer sleep.
How long shall you dwell in shadows, veiled from your own light?
Unveil the strength within you, and claim your glorious might!
Know the essence of your being, the beauty of your soul—
Compassion is your tenderness, yet fire makes you whole.
A thousand storms may rage within the chambers of your heart,
Yet grace shall be your crown, and courage your immortal art.
You are the pulse of life, the gentleness of spring,
The lullaby of tenderness, the hope that angels sing.
Yet lightning lives within your eyes, a flame no foe can tame;
You are the mighty Chandi, the destroyer of all shame!
Awaken, O Shakti, let your dormant powers rise;
Let no chain bind your spirit, let no fear dim your skies.
Stand tall in truth and purity, with purpose as your guide;
For when your will is steadfast, no mountain shall abide
Between the dream you cherish and the summit you shall claim—
The world shall know your courage, and remember well your name.
But let your strength be wisdom, let justice guide your hand;
Let mercy temper power, and truth forever stand.
For greatness lies not in crushing those who walk below,
But in lifting up the fallen and helping hope to grow.
You were never born to tremble, nor to live on bended knee;
You need not break another to discover you are free.
You are neither weak nor helpless, neither captive nor afraid—
You are a soul of dignity, in your own light arrayed.
So rise, O Woman, rise again, let your horizons gleam;
Give wings to every silenced voice, give courage to each dream.
Let every woman find her dawn, let every spirit soar;
Let none be chained by fear or shame, or turned away from freedom's door.
Arise, O Woman, awaken! Let your boundless spirit shine;
The power to transform the world is yours, by right divine.
Let a thousand suns illuminate the path that you have trod—
Awaken to your Shakti, O Woman—
And know the infinite within you is a spark of the Divine!
For Hindus of Bharat, this sacred occasion is also a call to awaken — to rediscover our civilizational roots, embrace the timeless wisdom of Sanatan Dharma, and carry its values of righteousness, compassion, courage, and spiritual freedom into our daily lives.
Sanatan is not merely a tradition inherited from our ancestors; it is a living philosophy that invites us to seek truth, fulfil our duties, respect the divine in creation, and stand fearlessly against injustice.
As the drums of Durga Puja echo across Bharat, let us awaken the Shakti within ourselves. Let us preserve our heritage, pass our wisdom to the next generation, and build a society rooted in dharma, dignity, and harmony.
Awake, Hindus of Bharat! Embrace Sanatan. Let the victory of Maa Durga inspire the victory of truth over falsehood, courage over fear, and righteousness over evil.
Jai Maa Durga! Jai Sanatan Dharma!

Netaji, UPSC@100 and Sanskrit: Is Bharat Looking Back to Move Forward - inferring Modiji's speech...
At the centenary celebration of the UPSC, Prime Minister Narendra Modiji recalled an interesting episode from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's life - his encounter with Sanskrit as part of the civil-services examination of the colonial era.
It was a small historical reference, but perhaps it raises a much larger question.
Is Bharat beginning to rediscover Sanskrit?
A modern Sanskrit revival cannot simply mean returning to the past.
Imagine a Bharat where Sanskrit is studied not only as an ancient language, but also as an intellectual technology - alongside mathematics, computer science, and AI.
Perhaps the question is therefore not:
"Will Bharat return to Sanskrit?"
but rather:
"What new form of Sanskrit can Bharat create for the 21st century?"
And here's the Nemo of society thinking it out loud...
If the West Can Study Latin, Why Can't Bharat rediscover itself through Sanskrit?
The best part of today's Bharat is that we have a boss at the top with an absolute no-nonsense, clear head - who knows what he is speaking about.
People of Bharat...
This is the power of your one vote...
Jai Hind...
Jai Bharat...
